Comunidade Quilombola da Praia da Fazenda

In 2008, we developed a project for the Quilombola Community of Praia da Fazenda/Picinguaba nucleus – a small guesthouse to generate income for the local community. We began construction in July 2009, with a small amount of funding provided by two students from the Technical School of Architecture in Barcelona – interested in our proposal, they came to learn about the system as a sustainable architectural whole.
